On Friday, August 24, 2007, community leaders, business professionals and other members of the Clarksville community welcomed FRE Resources as the first major development project in the expanded Corporate Business Park. After extensive research, FRE chose Clarksville for this speculative customer service center due to its low call center saturation, quality of life, proximity to Nashville, central time zone, and cost of doing business. FRE hopes to find a client for this site and bring more than 500 jobs to the community. County Mayor Carolyn Bowers praised FRE and commented, “we’re willing to work with you hand-in-hand to make sure you’re successful.”
